Banana pudding ice cream

The Southern dessert, scooped.

You need

• 1 ripe banana
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1 tbsp banana or vanilla instant pudding mix
• 3/4 cup whole milk
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 4 vanilla wafers, broken (mix-in)

Steps

1. Blend everything except the wafers until smooth.
2. Pour into the pint (base closed).
3. After spinning: poke a hole to the bottom, add the wafers, and press Mix-In.
4. Lid on. Freeze flat for 24 hours.
5. Press Scoop, then Ice Cream.
6. Take the pint out and scoop.

🌿 Make it healthier: Swap the heavy cream for 2% milk plus 2 tbsp dry milk powder; it stays creamy with about half the fat. Use half the mix-ins and sprinkle them on top so a little goes further.
